On October 22nd ZOLL released RescueNet ePCR 6.5. With a whole myriad of exciting new features to explore, we invited ZOLL Product Owner Ben Barnett to host a webinar discussing and demonstrating how to make the most of the update. Here are a few highlights:
New Feature: Quick Fill
At our annual SUMMIT conference this past May, we hosted a series of user experience sessions. Our customers who attended those sessions provided feedback about some of their biggest frustrations.
Barnett said, “Overwhelmingly what we heard from everybody was that the most painful thing today for crew members is the time that it takes to complete a PCR. Just in general there's so much information, and then a lot of times the calls are the exactly the same. Despite this, the crew members have to go through and repeatedly document the exact same things on those call types.”
In response to the feedback from our customers about this annoying and time consuming process, our team at ZOLL developed a feature called Quick Fill.
“This is designed for call types that are going to have really similar information that's getting put into that PCR. If you've got a call type where you know the information is exactly the same every single time you do it, that's where you'll utilize this Quick Fill feature,” Barnett said.
Barnett then demonstrated how to use Quick Fill, showing the webinar attendees the full scope of what they could do with it.
New Feature: Cloud to TabletPCR with X-Series
Another feature Barnett discussed was the Cloud to TabletPCR with X-Series feature, which gives crew members access to files from the X-Series through the ZOLL cloud.
“We're really excited about this,” said Barnett. “This is now allowing us the capability of being able to pull case files from the X-Series directly down from the ZOLL cloud. There's a couple of ways we've done this, rather than having to sync up your X-Series with TabletPCR via Wi-Fi. As long as there's an internet connection in general for the X-series – and also TabletPCR – you can now get those case files if you need to.”
Barnett gave full demonstrations of these features and several others and discussed the ins and outs of RescueNet ePCR 6.5.
