Fire departments rely on grant funding to provide services that would otherwise fall outside their budget. Yet, getting grants is extremely competitive. It’s critical for departments to be able to write effective grant proposals that increase the likelihood of receiving the vital funding they need to improve fire operations and community safety.
The linchpin in most successful grant proposals is data. Fire records management system (RMS) software collects and organizes extensive data on incidents, responses, equipment usage, training records, and more. Incorporating this data into grant proposals is key for demonstrating the department's needs and persuading sponsors that the funding requests are justified.
Learn how grant writers can take full advantage of fire RMS data and analytics to support funding requests in this on-demand webinar, “How To Get More Grant Funding by Using Proposal Best Practices and Fire Data.”
